MUG SHOT: Woman charged with having sex in house of ill repute

IMMOKALEE — An Immokalee woman was arrested Friday after Collier County deputies say they found her having sex in a house of ill repute.

Martha Torres de la Cruz, 34, of the 800 block West Main Street, Immokalee, was charged with remaining frequent in a house of ill fame.

According to police reports, a deputy responded to the home in the 800 block of West Main Street in Immokalee on a call of a prostitution house. Upon arrival, the deputy saw a woman in the yard and asked if the trailer was her house and if the deputy could enter. The woman consented, according to the report, and walked inside the house with the deputy.

The woman went into the kitchen, according to the report. In a bedroom at the west end of the trailer, the deputy found two people having sex. The officer arrested de la Cruz after the deputy received sworn statements from her and the man she was engaged in sexual activity with. The man told police he paid de la Cruz $23 to have sex with her, according to the report.
