Spanish Wells Country Club purchased

Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club

9801 Treasure Cay Lane SE, Bonita Springs, FL

— Escalante Golf – owner and operator of luxury golf properties – has acquired Spanish Wells Country Club in Bonita Springs.

The club features 27 holes of championship golf, a new 32,000-square-foot clubhouse with several fine and casual dining venues, bocce courts, tennis program and a free-standing fitness facility. Members of Spanish Wells will have full membership privileges at nearby Tarpon Cove Yacht and Racquet Club, another Escalante-owned club in Naples.

The Fort Worth, Texas-based Escalante Golf already owns properties in Lecanto, Port Charlotte, Bradenton, Indiana, California, Colorado and Ohio.

The purchase wasn't much of a surprise to Spanish Wells members. Spanishwellscountryclub.com reported in February that Escalante Golf was in the process of buying the club.

Established in 1991, Escalante Golf is a boutique owner and operator of luxury golf properties nationwide.
