NAPLES — Well-behaved pooches (and their owners) pranced, paraded and promenaded at the Mercato Saturday.
The seventh annual Bark in the Park event moved to a new home - the green space across from AZN Restaurant - and enjoyed a sunny, well-attended turnout.
The tail-waggin’ celebration of pets and pet ownership was filled with fun and delightful activities, including dog training demonstrations by SW Florida Professional Dog Trainers Alliance and pet adoptions. There were also contests for Best Costume, Best Voice, Best Pet and Owner Look-Alike, Smallest/Largest and Best Trick/Talent.
All proceeds will benefit The Humane Society Naples no-kill shelter and adoption center.
