Gulf Coast High senior Casey Weston is expected to make her primetime debut tonight on NBC’s "The Voice."

The NBC series, which kicked-off last Tuesday with a two-hour taped episode, sets itself apart from other similar talent shows with an unexpected twist: Contestants are initially heard but not seen by a panel of pop stars.

Once a singer catches the judges’ attention, music greats Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton spin around in throne like chairs and finally get to glimpse the singer they backed or passed on.

The pros themselves compete to assemble a team of would-be pop stars, with the goal of guiding one toward a record contract and a $100,000 prize.

"The Voice" airs at 9 p.m. tonight on NBC.
