— Collier County fire districts are handling several fires tonight.

Golden Gate fire officials said that as of 6:30 p.m. they had dealt with a couple of fires and were trying to wrap up two additional blazes: one at the intersection of 25th Avenue Northwest and Fourth Street Northwest, and another near the intersection of Keri Island Drive and Rock Road.

However, Big Island Corkscrew fire officials said crews were also busy with at least five fires keeping the firefighters in the field.
