Veteran Master Gardeners will help you remedy your plant pest problems and recommend best care techniques in the landscape. Bring samples in plastic bags for diagnosis.

Spanish-language pesticide training
Limited commercial landscape maintenance pesticide certification preparation training. This event includes a state-required six-hour preparatory class and then an optional test. Classes are in Spanish and English and test is in English.
When: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday

University of Florida/Collier County Master Gardeners have teamed up with the Naples Botanical Garden to offer a walk-in plant clinic to answer all your plant and gardening questions.

Naples orchid society
"Orchids of Mexico" will be presented by Featherstone Orchids, a grower of orchids for more than 23 years, that specializes in warm-growing orchids and unusual plants in greenhouses in Dunnellon, Florida. Society members will exhibit their blooming plants during the meeting for a contest and an "Orchid Doctor" will also be available to assist with problems or questions.
