The Harrington team won in Bracket 3 and the Fisher team, with Louis and Mary, Betty Ellington and Jean Miller came first in Bracket 5.
Bringing up a finish to all the congratulations were the Side Games and the Swiss team winners, which included the Friday Side Swiss game won by the Trautwein/Blackburn team, the Jerry Bialski team who came first in “B” in the Wednesday evening Side Swiss game and the team of Bob Beckwith, Alice Van Hoesen, Audrey O’Connor and Steven Treiber in the Thursday evening Swiss Team event.

One highlight of the tournament was a two table Swiss team competition on Sunday morning for junior players, directed by Bruce Greenspan who has worked very hard to get this program going. Sunday’s game was the first of many competitions to come for these budding and enthusiastic young players.
