Police search for country music singer Mindy McCready, her son

FORT MYERS — Police are searching for former country music singer Mindy McCready and her son.

McCready reportedly took her 5-year-old son Zander from his father's Cape Coral home on Tuesday and hasn't been seen since, according to CMT.com

In an emergency hearing late Tuesday, a judge ruled that McCready has until 5 p.m. Thursday to return the child to authorities or face arrest, NBC2 reports.
