MUGSHOT: Golden Gate man accused of stealing smoker from local tavern

Sam Snead's Tavern

8004 Lely Resort Blvd., Naples, FL

A Golden Gate man is accused of stealing a grill-top smoker box from Sam Snead's Tavern after being caught on surveillance video.

Alfred J. Everett Jr., 26, of the 100 block of Santa Clara Way, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at the 2400 block of Vanderbilt Beach Road.

According to reports, in late September, Everett was captured on surveillance video from the rear of the restaurant lifting the grill-top smoker box and placing it in the back of a white pick-up truck.

The value of the grill top was redacted from reports.

Everett faces a charge of grand theft. His bond will be set by judge.
