Domestic violence arrests

Derwen Jackson, 28, of the 400 block of South Third Street, Immokalee, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at home. He is accused of slapping and punching his friend in her face and then throwing a rock through her car window.

Grand theft arrests

Eva Barican, 31, of the 200 block of 25th Street Northwest, Golden Gate Estates, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at the 1600 block of 40th Terrace. She is accused of stealing her brother’s amplifier and pawning it.

DUI arrests

Dennis Borjas, 36, of the 1700 block of Cypress Drive, Fort Myers, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at Lake Trafford and North 15th Street. He also faces a charge of driving while license suspended.
