Three men face armed robbery charges after deputies said they put a gun to the back of one victim's head and stole the cellphone of another victim Monday in Golden Gate.
Robert Simon Keith Dillard, 19, of the 3000 block of Beck Boulevard Lot, East Naples; Frederick Germain Jackson, 28, of the 300 block of 10th Street North, Naples; and Christopher Michael Sommers, 21, of the 4600 block of 16th Place Southwest, Golden Gate, each face a single count of armed robbery.
The two victims reported walking by the three suspects along the 4200 block of Washington Lane at about 12:15 a.m. Monday when the suspects approached from behind, a Collier County sheriff's arrest report said. Dillard then showed a handgun and ordered the victims to their knees, putting the gun to the back of one victim's head, the report said.
The suspects stole one victim's cell phone, a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. Nothing was stolen from the second victim.
The suspects fled in a gray-colored vehicle, which was pulled over about a mile and a half from the scene near 46th Terrace Southwest and 22nd Place Southwest. Deputies found the victim's cell phone, a black ski mask and two guns in the vehicle, the report said.
All three suspects were in jail on $50,000 bond as of Tuesday afternoon.

I hope people reading this realize that the great state of FL leaves you the right to carry a firearm. It's time that people like these are removed from the gene pool. Preferably by 9mm, .38, or .45. Jail isn't a deterrent. They just come out and do it again. Maybe next time it will be you or someone you know they do this to. Maybe next time the gun to the back of the victims head goes off.
Maybe next time the victim they choose is armed and we read about a robbery gone wrong. Three pieces of S@!$ were just removed from the gene pool. No loss there.

I sent an email to this paper yesterday asking why the recent article discussing how Obama is beating Romney in Florida polls and allowed comments, but not this article, but have heard had an answer.
To me, it sounds like a freedom of speech issue.
As for the Pub, I will never go near the place because of possibe pollution problems following her visit.
