A Marco Island man is accused of punching his wife and then smashing a coffee pot and vases over his own head after his wife told him to quit smoking.

Robert Banic, 43, of the 100 block of Bermuda Road, was arrested Thursday by Marco officers at home.

According to an arrest report, officers spoke with Banic’s two sons who told them that they awoke to their father yelling and threatening their mother. One of Banic’s son’s told officers that he witnessed his father hit his mom at which time she told him to call the police.

After this occurred Banic went into the kitchen threatening to harm himself, according to reports. Banic’s son told officers that he then watched his father smash a coffee pot on his own head.

When officers spoke with Banic’s wife she told them that he became very upset when she told him he needed to quit smoking because it was too expensive. He then punched her in the face and smashed two vases over his head before smashing the coffee pot on his head, according to reports.

Yep, his recovery from Bush's disastrous presidency isn't nearly fast enough.

Actually barack promised to have America "Changed" by now and I am not surprised by the "Blame Everyone Else" liberal attitude either.

Since Bush was to blame for everything that happened during his term, than so is Obama.
The buck stops at the President and that's the rules established during Bush's term.

We didn’t write them, the media/liberals did. It wasn't that long ago, so please try to remember and stop being such a hypocrite, Thanks.
