Happie should be happy today. She's in the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest distance on a skateboard by a goat.

Happie, a Nigerian dwarf cross, has always been a precocious pet, said owner Melody Cooke, 18, of Fort Myers. The goat, she said, has even tried to bicycle with her.

With treats and a little practice, Happie has learned how to ride a skateboard down a hall and on a driveway, and Cooke has also taught her to jump through hoops, lie down on command and shake hands. The pair received Happie's world record certification this week.

The only thing Happie hasn't been able to do is bleat her way into the Wharton School of Business, where Cooke, a graduate of Fort Myers High School, is headed this fall:

"She has to stay back here with my mom and dad," said Cooke, a bit glumly.
