FPL says it should restore power to 2,400 Bonita Springs customers in an hour

A main feeder line failure caused a power outage to 4,185 customers in Bonita Springs on Thursday afternoon, FPL reported.

About 2,400 customers remained without power as of 6 p.m., but power should be restored to all of them in about an hour, said Heather Kirkendall, an FPL spokeswoman.

It appears the outage was weather related, as storms rolled through the area, she said.
