North Naples and East Naples firefighters were among about 30 first-responder personnel to arrive around noon Sunday to a house fire in the Grey Oaks development.
First reports were of light smoke, but when firefighters investigated, they found fire in the walls of the 15,000-square-foot home in the 2800 block of Tarflower Way, said Jorge Aguilera, deputy chief of medical services and community relations for the North Naples Fire Control and Rescue District.
The cause remains under investigation, although there was a strong lightning storm in the area at the time the fire was reported, he said.
