State Rep. Kathleen Passidomo, R- Naples won her primary election Tuesday in a landslide against a political unknown for the District 106 seat.

“I’m blessed, I really am blessed,” Passidomo said from Sea Salt restaurant in downtown Naples where she dined with family and her aides. “I wanted to have a casual dinner tonight. We’re going to celebrate in November hopefully.”

Passidomo, 59, an attorney in Naples for more than 30 years, easily outhauled David Bolduc, 44, in fundraising and won about 73 percent of the vote. Bolduc is a precious metals assets manager and two-year resident of Naples.

“I have nothing but nice things to say about Bolduc,” Passidomo said. “He’s a nice guy, he just hasn’t been around long enough and I hope he continues to get involved in the community.”

Passidomo will square up against Libertarian Peter Richter in the November general election.
