A tryst in the pool Tuesday night attracted some unwanted attention — from the cops — authorities say.

Around 6:30 p.m., neighbors in East Naples reported seeing a man perform a sex act on a woman in a Green Valley Circle community pool near the intersection of Airport-Pulling Road and Davis Boulevard. When a Collier County sheriff's deputy arrived to investigate, the woman told him, "This is why no one likes you guys," according to an arrest report.

Asked what they were doing, Merrie Killian, 49, said she was swimming laps. Erich Wiedmann, 49, who was not wearing clothing, said he was a nudist, reports said.

Two neighbors who reported the activity filled out sworn statements about what they saw. Both Killian and Wiedmann were arrested.

Killian, who faces a charge of disorderly intoxication, posted her $1,000 bond Wednesday. Her exact address in East Naples was not available. Wiedmann, of the 4500 block of Andover Way, remained in jail on a $2,000 bond facing a charge of indecent exposure.

Stiff penalty for these two, cops new what was going down. the head investigator is very cunning and figured things out lickity split. Now we need a hardened prosecutor to crack this case wide open.
