Edison State College monitoring Tropical Storm Isaac

The U.S. National Hurricane Center says Tropical Storm Isaac is expected to strengthen and could become a hurricane Thursday. The second system to the right is the wind probability map for Tropical Depression 10.

Edison State College officials have activated the emergency response protocol and are monitoring the development and progress of Tropical Storm Isaac.

At this time, all classes and activities on Edison’s campuses in Fort Myers, Naples and Punta Gorda, as well as its center in LaBelle, are taking place as scheduled. College officials will meet Friday morning to review the situation. Any updates will be made available to all media and the college’s website: www.edison.edu.
