A North Naples man is accused of damaging four vehicles in an apparent case of road rage Wednesday morning, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said.

A woman said she was driving south on Airport-Pulling Road when a man in white GMC Yukon cut her off. When she honked at the sport utility vehicle, the driver threw a metallic object at her car and drove off, reports said.

The woman told troopers she followed the SUV to get its license plate number, but the driver sped through the nearby business parking lots in an attempt to get away, according to an arrest report.

As he fled, a driver later identified as Donald McClean Juhl, 22, hit a 2003 Mercury, causing $5,000 worth of damage, and a 2004 Jeep, causing $8,000 worth of damage, the report said. The impact also caused the Jeep to hit a 2006 Hyundai, causing $2,000 worth of damage.

After hitting the vehicles, Juhl backed up and drove off at a high speed, at one point reaching 70 mph, according to a passenger in his car. He then parked the SUV at a nearby restaurant and ran off through the parking lot.

Officials later found him inside a nearby store. Juhl, of the 2800 block of Tiburon Boulevard East, faces charges of driving while license suspended, possession of a suspended license, giving false information to police, criminal mischief and leaving the scene of a crash.
