I thought I should write you and tell you how positive this new City Council has reacted to residents concerns.
We had and issue with falling Coconuts in both the Mackle Park area and inside the Canine Cove were two people were nearly hit by these falling coconuts. I requested they be removed because someone or canine could be seriously be injured.
I emailed the city attorney, city manager and council explaining the possibility of a lawsuit if someone was injured. Within two days the entire park has had these coconuts removed.
I was speaking on part of a number of people who frequent both areas of the park. I have sent a thank you response to all involved in getting these
issues resolved.
Finally the new council is listening to the voice of the people. The residents want a say in what is going on and under why these things are
being proposed.
