Local roofer accused of stealing from client

A roofer is accused of stealing and pawning jewelry from a client’s home.

Kevin Miller, 44, of the 2300 block of Bear Creek Drive, North Naples was Thursday arrested by Collier deputies Thursday at his home. He is accused of grand theft and dealing in stolen property.

A woman who was having her roof repaired said she first noticed her Swarovski crystal moose was missing from her dresser. She later noticed thousands of dollars in jewelry was also missing from her jewelry box.

A pawn search showed Miller had recently pawned jewelry.
