Bonita Springs-based WCI Communities has appointed Keith E. Bass as chief executive officer.
Bass has more than 20 years of home-building experience, and has held a number of executive leadership positions at national home-building and development companies, most recently as president of the South Region of Ryland Homes.
He replaces David L. Fry, president and chief executive officer, who resigned from WCI for personal reasons.

Golden Gate High hosts college financial aid night
Golden Gate High School will host a College Financial Aid and Free Application for Federal Student Aid information night from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The session will be in the school's auditorium, 2925 Titan Way, and is free and open to all Collier County public school parents and students.
