Detectives investigating North Naples convenience store robbery

Collier detectives are investigating the late Friday robbery of a North Naples 7-Eleven.

A cashier at the store near Immokalee and Airport-Pulling roads said a masked man came into the store around 11:30 p.m., pointed a black revolver at his head and demanded money from the register and the safe, according to an incident report.

The cashier handed over $45 from the register but said only his manager had access to the safe. The robber grabbed five cartons of Marlboro cigarettes worth $55 and ran from the store, according to a deputy's report.

Surveillance images show the robber was a white man about 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black mask, a black and gray batter's glove on his left hand, a black and gray hoodie with a yellow collared shirt underneath, black pants and black sneakers, reports said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff's Office at 239-252-9300.
