All of the necessary ingredients are in place for high rain prospects for the next couple days across Southwest Florida.
Here's the setup: There's a cold front moving into the Florida Panhandle today, but well ahead of this front, a pipeline of deep moisture is flowing into Southwest Florida from the tropics, and this will put us in line to see numerous downpours along with some thunderstorms.
Today and Wednesday will be good days to keep the umbrella handy because from start to finish today, storms will be possible at any time over any place, NBC2 reports.
