The kids-based Chuck E. Cheese pizza chain is slated to open in a 14,512-square-foot North Naples site in the spring or summer of 2013.

"Conveniently located at the corner of U.S. 41 and Immokalee Road, the Granada Shoppes is well-positioned to cater to the growing young demographic in the Naples market," said Jim Zaydon, senior leasing and sales manager of Courtelis Co., developer of the shopping center, in a statement.

"Many of Granada Shoppes' existing stores, such as Trader Joe's, Haverty's, Pier One Imports, Marshalls, Moes & Frozen Yogurt Cloud have already established this center as a popular destination for local residents and families," the statement said.

"The addition of Chuck E. Cheese will be a benefit to the shopping center and the community; particularly since its unique focus on children's dining and entertainment is a segment of the Naples market that is presently underserved."

There are 26 Chuck E. Cheese eateries in the state. The nearest one is in Fort Myers at 5020 S. Cleveland Ave., across U.S. 41 from Page Field airport.
