Lee deputy fired after pornography found on work computer

A Lee County sheriff’s deputy was fired after investigators reported finding pornography on his agency computer.

The picture that launched the internal affairs investigation into seven-year-veteran Robert Hamer was of a woman’s bare chest as she posed in his unmarked patrol car while he was on duty.

“We all expect and deserve better from our deputies which is precisely why Mr. Hamer is unemployed right now,” Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott said.
