NAPLES — Gateway Charter took down Lely, 50-27, in a Beach Bash game at the Naples Holiday Shootout presented by Arthrex at Barron Collier on Saturday.
Gateway took a 13-point halftime lead. Guards Larissa Roker and Respect Leaphart were a force on both ends of the court. The 5-foot-10 Roker had 13 points, nine steals, eight rebounds and five assists. Leaphart, a 6-1 freshman, led Gateway in scoring with 17 and came away with 11 rebounds.
Senior forward Madeline Rammelt led Lely in scoring with 9, and added eight rebounds.
