A plume of moisture in the Gulf of Mexico has our attention, but it stands little chance to develop into anything more than just clouds and rain.
The good news is we desperately need the rain, and it looks like we'll also see a few more opportunities through the course of this week. For the balance of your Monday, we'll see plentiful clouds and even some scattered showers and downpours by the middle of the day.
However, not all of us will get wet as the rain will be hit or miss in nature. Temperatures will still be rather warm with upper 70s and low 80s during the middle of the day. Tonight will be mainly dry, though still rather cloudy; temperatures will still be on the mild side with lows expected to fall into the middle 60s.
