$1,000 in perfume reported stolen from Coconut Point Victoria’s Secret

— Something didn’t smell right when an alarm went off Friday at Victoria’s Secret.

Employees at the Coconut Point store would find out thieves made off with $1,000 in perfume.

An employee of the store, located at 23151 Fashion Drive, Estero, told deputies she was at the cash register assisting a customer when she heard the sensors at the front door go off. She looked up but did not see anyone, a Lee incident report said.

Another employee walked into the beauty section and noticed several items missing from a display shelf. After conducting an inventory, reports say there were 35 items, assorted brands of perfume, missing with an estimated value of $1,045.
