The Island Country Club saw close matches in its Member/Guest Doubles Championships.

The Mens’ 3.5 title was won by member Roger Boissie and his guest Paul Violette, both from Dover, NH, 10-8, over Corky Trebilcock from the Island Club and his guest Kerry O’Brien.

The Women’s Open Member/Guest Championship went to the team of Island Club member Keeley Miller and her guest Stacy Faremouth, taking out club member Eileen Fisher and guest Elizabeth MidKiff , 10-6, in the match tie-breaker final.

In the Men's Open Member /Guest Championship, the three-time time champs, Larry Sexton and Clay Zyerfeld, were eliminated 10-8 in the semifinals by the eventual champions, member Rick Eichman and guest Martin Arr. They went on to defeat the Island Club’s Ray Jean and guest Mike Deluca in a squeaker of a final, 10-8 .
