MARCO ISLAND — More than 300 people were expected at the Marco Island Lions Club International pancake breakfast at Marco Island United Church, 320 N. Barfield Drive on Saturday morning.
Early indications supported that estimate. Proceeds from the annual event go towards various eye sight related causes including screening, treatment and seeing eye dogs.
With veteran Lions with as much as 70 years membership on hand to serve breakfast attendees enjoyed pancakes, eggs and sausage.
