Letter: Obama, CBS in cahoots

There is a "clear and present danger" facing the United States. And it comes from within.

The alliance between the president and the media should cause us to worry about what is happening to this country. The Fourth Estate is totally and without apology in open rebellion against the people of this country.

A case in point. The president on the program 60 Minutes is interviewed and says:" I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our first two years against any president — with the possible exceptions of Johnson, FDR, and Lincoln." CBS edits out that absurd claim but in explanation exonerates itself by not disclosing their editing policy and hiding behind the comment that the entire interview is on their website.

Obama uses the qualifier "with the possible exceptions." He is implying that it is possible to view him as the greatest president even over Johnson, FDR and Lincoln never mind over Washington, Jefferson and other great presidents.

I am waiting for the courageous psychiatrist to say that this man is narcissistically sick and dangerous.

Why would CBS edit out this absurd claim? I assume so as to not embarrass a president they support. They want to "transform" America as he does and he is their best hope. They may not get that chance again. Look out for what is coming. The media will be in full attack on behalf of this president.

A clear and present danger, the President and the media as an ally? Absolutely!
