A Bonita man sustained life threatening injuries after he and a friend were stabbed Sunday.
Lee County sheriff's deputies responded to a residence on the 26400 block of Bridgeport Lane, Sunday to a reported disturbance, according to a Lee County incident report. Domingo guided the deputy into a bedroom in the home. Inside, his roommate, 20-year-old Andres Gomez, appeared to be in a great amount of pain and wincing. Domingo pointed to Gomez's back and Gomez leaned forward so the deputy could look at his injury. Deputies said it appeared to be a stab wound.
Medics arrived and concluded the injury to Gomez was possibly life threatening.
A medic was able translate for the deputies and told them Domingo said an unknown group of men stabbed both him and Gomez. However, Domingo was unable to state where the stabbing occurred, reports said.
