Ziggy Dick’s Cook-off and Festival

The Ziggy Dick’s Barbe­cue Cook-off and Festival sponsored by the Rotary Club of Naples Bay will take place from 4 to 10 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Collier County Fairgrounds, 751 39th Ave. N.E. (off Immo­kalee Road), Naples. The event features a live music, rides, an ancillary cooking contest open to the public and the rib cook-off. $6, adults; free, children un­der 12. Dinner and a show

The Sisterhood and Men’s Club of the Jewish Congregation of Marco Is­land is sponsoring a wine dinner at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at 991 Winterberry Drive, Marco Island. The five­course dinner and wine pairing will have an Ital­ian theme with wine ex­pert Ronald Kapon. IHOP restaurants are offering hash brown stacks through Feb. 19. The hash browns are layered with eggs and a variety of toppings and are served with a choice of fresh fruit or two buttermilk pancakes. Pollo Tropical has redesigned its TropiChop menu so customers can create their own with an expanded line of rice and other base options.
