A Bonita Springs man discovered $1,000 worth of Ficus bushes cut down Wednesday on his property. Deputies say he believes a neighbor may be responsible.
The victim told deputies 33 Ficus bushes were cut down along his driveway, on the 27400 block of Matheson Avenue, between 7:00 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.
He requested deputies make a report for the damage because he believes the neighbor is responsible. According to a Lee County incident report, the victim said there has been a neighbor feud going on for years. He also told deputies one of his neighbors heard someone with a chainsaw but did not see who cut the bushes down.
