Letter: Change is due

Re: Letter from Bill Linehan regarding "gray-haired drivers on the way to the doctor's office for free medical care," referring to their Medicare.

These people paid into Medicare all their working years, as well as paying for Medicare out of their Social Security checks, which they also paid into, and paying for supplement costs and prescription costs through their insurance companies. This is not free medical care for seniors. What is free is the many millions of dollars of health care that the citizens and taxpayers of this country pay to support "free" health care for illegal immigrants.

Millions of American men and women have fought and given their lives to protect our Constitution and all that it stands for. President Barack Obama stated in one of his numerous speeches "the Constitution has deep flaws and the Founding Fathers had an enormous blind spot when they wrote it." This coming from a president who took an oath to uphold the Constitution.

Yes, Mr. Linehan, our Constitution needs to be restored after being tread on the last three years by Obama and his cohorts. And Obama's policies are most certainly based on socialism, and if re-elected he will destroy the foundation of this country.

In 2012 with a change with this president and his administration, we the people can "Stop Socialism" and "Restore the Constitution." And bring our country and government back to the people where it belongs!
