The Naples Grande Beach Resort has a new name, Waldorf Astoria Naples.
The name change officially happened Jan. 1, though it has operated as a Waldorf Astoria resort for some time.
Hilton Worldwide is the parent company of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts. Property improvements are planned throughout the year that will reflect the latest Waldorf Astoria standards.
"The Waldorf Astoria name is synonymous around the world with the very best in luxury and hospitality so it is natural to associate it with our Naples resort which is an iconic landmark that represents the pinnacle of luxury and hospitality in Southwest Florida," said John T.A. Vanderslice, global head of luxury and lifestyle brands for Hilton Worldwide, in making the announcement.
The 474-room waterfront resort is off Seagate Drive, near Waterside Shops.
