KINDERSPORT

Info: Grades Prekindergarten, Kindergarten and 1st grade. Jan. 21 to March 10. 10 to 11:30 a.m. Community School of Naples. Cost is $95. Specially designed youth athletic program for children ages 4-6. Children will learn skills and play games in soccer, football, volleyball and basketball over an eight week period.

YMCA

Info: Registration is going on now for the summer season of Youth Sports at the Greater Naples YMCA. The following sports are offered: Basketball for kids ages 3-17; and Volleyball for girls ages 7-17. Program fees for youth sports range from $30-$50 for YMCA members or $60-90 for nonmembers. OPTIMIST MIDDLE SCHOOL

Info: Boys and girls in grades 5 through 8 from all public and private middle schools are eligible to play. Form your own team and play for the school you attend. A team must provide a coach and have a minimum of six players and a maximum of nine players. All games will be on Sunday afternoons at Golden Gate High School. Season will run from Jan. 15 through March 11. First practice will be the week of Jan. 9. Player and coach registration forms are available on www.leaguelineup.com/optimistbasketball. Registration fee is $70 per player. If registration forms for all players and coach are sent together the fee is reduced to $60 per player. Team sponsors are also needed. Team sponsorship is $200.
