A word to the wise: with the arrival of sporadic chilly weather come the conditions favorable to the formation of early morning fog.
It can come up with no notice and hang around through mid-morning. It can make driving slow and very dangerous.
We issue this reminder so that motorists may be aware and pre-program extra time into daybreak commutes and errands — and treks to the airport.
If we can avoid even one traffic accident, it will be worth the community's efforts.
