Y adult volleyball season begins

The YMCA Adult Co-Ed Volleyball League begins its winter season on Monday.

The season will have five teams, but there is room for a sixth team. Team Fee is $350 and the teams report a need for women players.

League rules say players must be over 16 years of age. Teams consist of up to 12 players and the sponsor is responsible for same color shirts to be worn by the players. An individual can sign up and be assigned to a team for a $75 sign-up fee. The league plays on Monday nights and games are scheduled at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. The season runs nine weeks with a three-week play off schedule.

Register at the Customer Service desk at the Y or call Steve Reynolds, league director at 239-394-9622, ext. 228, or email marketing@marcoislandymca.org.
