Lee County sheriff’s deputies are investigating an attempted kidnapping in north Bonita Springs.
Deputies received a report at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday about the attempted abduction on Pinson Drive, located about 1 mile east of the Old 41 Road and Strike Lane intersection. The victim told deputies that she was walking on Pinson Drive when a man standing on the side of the street grabbed her. The suspect tried to pull the victim into a nearby field, but the victim escaped and ran home.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-6-inch white male, in his mid- to late-20s, with a muscular to heavy build and dark hair. He was wearing a gray T-shirt and black basketball shorts, deputies said.
The victim wasn’t injured.
