So much for a slow turnout. In the past hour voters are turning out in masses according to the Collier Supervisor of Elections.
In the last hour nearly 4,000 people vote, sending the days total to a little less than 13,000 showing up to the polls today.
The Supervisor of Elections office is predicting a 44 percent turnout in Collier County totally more than 59,000 voters.

Voting is setting a brisk pace now according to the Collier Supervisor of Elections.
In the last hour nearly another 3,000 people voted for the second straight hour, sending the days total to a little less than 10,000 showing up to the polls today.

Reports of low and slow turnout continue to trickle into the Naples Daily News newsroom.
The Collier Supervisor of Elections is reporting that less than 4,000 people have voted so far today. But they are expecting a 39 percent turnout of all registered voters.
The busiest site this morning has been Precinct 464 at the Moorings Presbyterian Church with 178 voters.

The lines at polling places in Southwest Florida are slower than expected this morning. Several reporters situated at several polling sites in Collier and south Lee County are reported slow voting with reports of less than 10 people in the first hour at various sites.
Gov. Scott voted today in Tallahassee but will not reveal his vote.
The Daily News is doing early voting exit polling for the GOP presidential race and the Naples and Bonita city races this week leading up to the Jan. 31 election.
