What is needed
The campaign for mayor is about leadership. A leader can be of any race, creed, gender or color. History tells us that.
It is not about how long a person has lived in one place. A leader must have the ability to lead.
Leadership requires certain abilities. In the case of mayor of Bonita Springs, that person should have new and fresh ideas, a background of solid management abilities, budget management, and the proven ability to lead the city in the way the people of the city deserve to and wish to go into the future.
Dave Grothaus has all of the above. He's done more, seen more, been more places and led more than Ben Nelson.
His vision for all of us is what we need as our next mayor. Vote for Dave Grothaus on Jan. 31.
