As individuals, we all have our own political, religious and social affinities, we are Republicans, Democrats, Conservatives, Liberals, Libertarians and socialists. There is one common fiber, or DNA, that binds us together. We are a nation based on Judeo-Christian values as written in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States.
Today we are a country in trouble, floundering in a sea of debt, high unemployment, economic stagnation and energy dependence. We are becoming a nation of takers and self-indulgence. What happened to "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country"?
Our ship of state is in a horrible storm, looking for a captain to sail her into safe harbor.
Mitt Romney has the moral fortitude, entrepreneurial experience and long-term vision to bring us back to an exceptional America. He will cut the red tape and regulations binding the energy sector and manufacturing, create an atmosphere of business and employment growth, eliminate "Obamacare" and take a realistic approach to improving our health care system. Romney has the fortitude and vision to deal with the social security quandary and the resolve to make reforms so that future generations can have successful retirements. He will reward our returning veterans with job and educational opportunities.
Mitt Romney is the captain this country is looking for to right our ship of state, join me in voting for him in the Republican primary on Jan. 31. God bless America.
