A 27-year-old man took sex videos and photos of a toddler and then gave the camera to a friend, according to a Collier County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.

Maxwell Duffy, of 863 8th Street South, is accused of taking two videos and several photos of a young girl disrobing and dancing in the bathroom. Duffy, according to the arrest report, instructs the toddler to do the “splits” in the video.

Detectives discovered the alleged crimes after Duffy gave the camera to a friend during a move out of Brittany Bay Apartments. That friend then gave the camera to another friend who found the videos and photos.

A search of Duffy’s computer found another 37 child pornography videos.

Duffy is facing 39 felony counts of child pornography and two felony counts of allowing a child to engage in sex.
