Fire destroys North Naples home

NAPLES — Fire destroyed a home early this morning at 8502 Laurel Lakes Cove in North Naples.

The fire was reported just before 4 a.m., said fire inspector Bill Silvester, and the home is a total loss.

A family dog died in the fire, NBC-2 reports.

Homeowners Eric and Mollee Cole lived in the home, according to property records on collierappraiser.com. The 3,169-square-foot home with a pool is on a cul-de-sac and a small lake in the Laurel Lakes gated community off Immokalee Road.
