The John R. Wood Realtors team of Bill Earls and Larry Lappin has been named the 15th most productive sales team in the nation in an independent ranking compiled by the Wall Street Journal and Real Trends.

With more than $141 million in sales volume in 2011, Earls and Lappin were the only team in Southwest Florida named in the ranking of the nation's top 250 teams, and the second of seven Florida teams cited, with the next closest team coming in at No. 63.

For 2012, the sale team's mid-year sales already have exceeded $65 million and Earls and Lappin are on track to equal or surpass last year's volume.
