1. SCHOOL GRADES OUT TODAY: School grades are expected to be released today by the Florida Department of Education, which this year toughened scoring standards. The state graded the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test — a major factor in the school grades — on a more difficult scale and, for the first time, factored in the scores of first-year English language learner students. Handed down each year, the A to F grades are used to reward and sanction schools.

2. THE NEW WRINKLE HOUSE REPUBLICANS WILL USE AGAINST HEALTH CARE LAW: GOP to push for a symbolic repeal vote with a new argument: It will spare 20 million Americans from a tax.
