An Immokalee woman is accused of chasing her husband around the house with a large kitchen knife, threatening to kill him, after throwing a container of plaster at him.
Caroline Cadet, 42, of the 500 block of South Eighth Street, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at home.
Deputies said they found Cadet, who has been married to her husband for 10 years, chasing after him with a large knife in hand, thrusting it toward him.
Cadet's husband told deputies his wife started arguing with him over money and threw a large container of plaster, hitting him in the back of the head and left shoulder. Deputies said Cadet's husband was not injured but was covered in plaster.
Deputies said Cadet told deputies her husband whipped her with a knife and punched her on the face. She also said the fight was over money and her refusing to have sex with her husband.
Cadet faces a felony charge of aggravated assault with a weapon and a charge of domestic violence.
