Domestic violence arrests
James Metcalf, 25, of the 5200 block of Hemingway Circle, Golden Gate, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at the 4700 block of Golden Gate Parkway. He is accused of pinning his girlfriend on the ground and grabbing her by the neck. He faces an additional charge of criminal mischief.
Manuel Gonzalez-Covarrubias, 50, of the 600 block of Doak Avenue, Immokalee, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at home. He is accused of fighting with his girlfriend.
Grand theft arrests
Nathan Tucker, 25, of the 2700 block of 47th Avenue Northeast, Golden Gate Estates, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at the 200 block of Manor Boulevard. He is accused of stealing jewelry from his friend’s house and selling it to a local pawn shop. He faces additional charges of dealing in stolen property and fraud for verifying false ownership to the jewelry.
Sarah Carmichael, 35, of the 7400 block of Plumbago Bridge Road, North Naples, was arrested Thursday by Naples officers at the 300 block of Riverside Circle. She is accused of stealing jewelry from her friend’s home and pawning it. She faces an additional charge of dealing in stolen property.
DUI arrests
William Van Duyn, 62, of the 3000 block of Beck Boulevard, East Naples, was arrested Thursday by Florida Highway Patrol troopers at Beck Boulevard. He faces an additional charge of DUI with property damage.
Brian Tanner, 34, of the 300 block of Fillmore Street, Naples, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at U.S. 41 and Lely Resort Boulevard.
